Middle School Rising

Middle school is a time of immense change—friendships shift, emotions deepen, and the pressures of growing up begin to take shape. It’s a bridge between childhood and adolescence, a time when kids are discovering who they are and how they fit into the world. Yet too often, they navigate these years without the emotional support and tools they need to thrive.

That’s why this camp is designed specifically for kids entering middle school. It is a space where they can build confidence, connect with others, and develop emotional and mental wellness skills that will carry them through this transition.

What Kids Will Experience

🌿 Emotional Wellness: Activities that help them explore self-awareness and emotional regulation

🌿 Friendship & Belonging: Open conversations about connection and navigating social dynamics

🌿 Self-Trust & Intuition: Tools for making decisions that align with their values

🌿 Play, Creativity & Nature: Unstructured play, creative projects, and time outdoors to foster well-being

🌿 Middle School Readiness: Tips and tricks for the first few days, practice using a locker combination, managing a planner, and learning how to navigate a new schoo

Why This Camp Matters

This kind of camp isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity. Kids today are facing increasing anxiety, loneliness, and pressure to grow up too fast. They need spaces where they can be themselves, feel seen, and build inner strength to move through life’s challenges with resilience.

At Nature Song, we believe in creating spaces that honor growth, self-discovery, and the power of community. When we invest in the emotional and mental well-being of our kids, we invest in a healthier, more connected future.

Calling Teen Leaders

Nature Song is launching an exciting youth-driven initiative, and we’re looking for there to four inspiring future 8th or 9th grader to step into leadership roles at the upcoming Middle School Rising camps. This is an incredible opportunity for teens to use their voice, share their experiences, and help shape a space where younger participants feel seen, understood, and empowered.

As a peer mentor, they’ll gain valuable leadership skills, build confidence in guiding others, and help design an experience that truly reflects what young people need. This volunteer role offers a chance to grow, lead, and make a lasting impact.

Interested, fill out the application form, and Amy will follow up with you directly.
