Ways to Step Into Nature Song
Nature Song is more than a program or a nonprofit, it’s a living, breathing community where we come together to support each other through life’s seasons. Rooted in nature, connection, and shared wisdom, Nature Song is a space where people of all ages can grow, learn, and belong. Whether you’re looking for deep conversations, meaningful traditions, or playful gatherings, there’s a place for you here.
It starts out simply by joining a pod!
Meeting regularly with the same people over time creates a foundation for genuine connection. As we gather again and again, trust deepens, conversations expand, and a shared sense of belonging takes root.
Join a Pod
Pods are small groups that meet regularly to foster connection and shared experiences. Each pod has a unique focus.
Forest Collective Pods – A gathering space for mothers seeking community, reflection, and support in their journey.
New pods form twice a year in March/April and August/September.
Joy Pods – Playful, out-of-the-box gatherings designed to bring people together for unexpected fun and connection.
Joy Pods meet once or twice a month, offering a playful way for adults to connect and be present together. They serve as a welcoming entry point into the Nature Song community, bringing together those who enjoy gathering and seeing where their interests lead. Over time, these connections may naturally grow into a collective, much like Forest Roots.
Seedling School Pods – Children gather to build relationships, explore the natural world, and engage in hands-on, collaborative learning.
The goal is to gradually expand, growing alongside the children and fostering a strong homeschooling community for families. As the program flourishes, more teachers will join to enhance the learning experience and support this evolving journey.
Wandering Roots Pods – These pods are for families, stepping outside the walls of a classroom to engage directly with knowledge keepers, makers, and doers, immersing in meaningful, real-life learning.
Generation Garden – We meet on Wednesdays from April to September to tend the garden and share in conversation. This is an all-age meetup with plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just beginning, there’s space for everyone to dig in, share knowledge, and enjoy the beauty of the season. Children are welcome to explore and help, and there will be moments for storytelling, laughter, and reflection as we nurture both the garden and our relationships.
Attend a Gathering
Nature Song hosts seasonal celebrations, storytelling circles, and outdoor experiences to deepen our bonds and honor life’s rhythms. These gatherings are open to all and offer a welcoming way to step in. Keep an eye out for upcoming events!
