Forest Bathing

I have been wanting to come together in this way for a while. To combine all the things that I love đź’—  nature + people + stories + art + ritual + playfulness.

This was my first time leading this type of gathering. I outline what we did together so that you might become inspired to give it a try with your friends or family!

We opened our time together by creating a collective centerpiece from found objects and shared a gratitude for each object that was placed. Next, we wander in any direction directed only by the heart and not the mind to a “sit spot” to notice and connect with our senses and nature. Finally, we playfully or purposely built a structure out of driftwood. We finished our time together in the “gathering spot” made by a participant out of driftwood and shared what was currently blooming for us.

Thankful for all that came out and shared. I hope you will join us next time!
