Sisterhood

A lot of what happens when girls come together with me is hidden. It’s not obvious but I see it. Often a brave share about how one was impacted by covid or an experience at school starts the shift. Which leads to more sharing. More listening. More relating.

I can almost feel it. Excitement fills the room when girls realize that they will be heard and seen. Girls start relating to one another and feel less alone. It is something we all crave and a gift for girls to receive at such a young age.

This is sisterhood. A return to connection. A return to smartphones down and real interaction. It makes my heart happy. 💛
