What is Nature Song?

Nature Song is a living, community-centered network designed to support people through the transitions of life.

It weaves together education, relationships, and shared experiences to create something many of us are missing, a sense of belonging, continuity, and care across generations.

While some parts of Nature Song look like traditional offerings, classes, workshops, or camps, these are only one layer. They help sustain the work, but they are not the whole of it.

At its heart, Nature Song is an evolving structure for rebuilding community, where people are not just participants, but contributors to the culture, relationships, and support systems being created together.

Nature Song is rooted in a few core threads that move through everything:

  • building intergenerational relationships

  • creating spaces of care, belonging, and mutual support

  • honoring life transitions through rites of passage and shared learning

  • recognizing and celebrating meaningful moments

  • reimagining how community structures can function

  • collaborating and exchanging resources, skills, and care

  • cultivating traditions and a more connected, intentional way of living

This is not a fixed model. It is something that grows through participation, shaped by the people within it.

The Initiatives

Each initiative focuses on a different life stage:

Childhood

  • Seedlings
A weekly homeschool drop-off program for children ages 5 to 8. At its heart is a consistent pod of children who gather throughout the year, building a strong sense of belonging and relationship. Intergenerational connection is woven in through both the children and their families. While this is a structured program, it also serves as a meaningful way for homeschooling families to build community.

  • Wandering Roots
A flexible, evolving program shaped by seasonal rhythms and community interest. Worth reaching out to me if you have kids ages 5 to 15!

  • Adventure Club
A small, home-based childcare experience with a different feel. Children gather at my home in a relaxed, playful environment where connection, creativity, and joy lead the day. It is less structured than a typical drop-off program, offering something more personal, organic, and relationship-centered.

  • Summer Camps
Seasonal day camps that I have been offering for the past nine years. These camps are a joyful and meaningful part of my work and provide the financial foundation that allows me to continue building Nature Song. Each three-day camp is thoughtfully created, with care, creativity, and a deep intention for children to have a fun, memorable, and connected experience.

Adolescence

Metrescence

  • The Forest Collective
A relationship-centered for mothers to build connection and support through small pods and a wider community network. This is where community is actively grown, through shared experiences, consistency, and care.

Multi-Generation

  • Generation Circle
A space for intergenerational connection, where people of different ages come together to share knowledge, time, and relationship.

  • Generation Garden

  • Joy Pods
