Moon Cycle Circle

This circle was created to help girls learn about the changes that occur during puberty. This two-part series features an interactive presentation, open discussion, art activity, Q&A, and a meaningful closing ceremony. Topics covered: the female reproductive system, menstruation care options, expressing and recognizing emotions and needs, changes in puberty, charting your cycle, understanding hormones, and self-care practices. It provides a safe and enjoyable environment for girls to learn and grow their confidence, awareness and love for their body. Additionally, caretakers may join on Zoom to receive the information shared during the two-part series.  Girls who complete this series are invited to join a monthly meet-up to continue their growth, support and connection with other girls who have taken this workshop in the past.

Handcrafting Pod

This handcraft pod offers a fantastic opportunity for both beginners and experienced crafters to learn new skills and connect with others. We’ll kick off with a knitting session and then vote on future projects, which could include weaving, crocheting, sewing, cross-stitch, or needle felting. Families with younger siblings are welcome to join, provided parents stay and participate. Adults are encouraged to join, creating a multi-generational learning environment, though individuals age 9 and older are welcomed to attend independently. This pod emphasizes building a community around handcrafts and learning together, fostering a supportive environment where participants of all ages can share their creativity and skills. There are no experts leading the sessions; instead, everyone contributes to the learning experience, encouraging collaboration and shared growth.
