Amy Rupp

Amy started Nature Song Collective as a nature-based cooperative in 2017, when her daughter was three. At the time, she had few friends with children and was looking for a way to build a little village for herself and daughter. Meeting for three years weekly in the woods created a lasting impact on her life and since that time she has created other types of intentional communities and experiences. Her passions include: circle culture, rites of passage, nature awareness, building intergenerational relationships and community traditions.

Lily Bauer
While earning a BA in sustainability, Lily ran a youth rock climbing program and found herself drawn to the magic of working with children in embodied and nature-connective ways. After college, she worked in the gardening class in a Waldorf School and further explored her passion of facilitating nature-based learning and Steiner philosophy for whole-being development. She participated in a training program through the Wilderness Awareness School, picking up the framework for mentoring and guiding nature programs by assisting nature camps and completing a training and apprenticeship with Rite of Passage Journeys that focused on mentoring and facilitating meaningful soul journeys and vision fasts for youth.

Holly Steere
Holly is a founding member of Nature Song Collective and creator of the World Studies pod for kids ages 10 and older. This pod helps parents and children broaden their understanding of the world through research projects, guest speakers, and hands-on field trips. She is a community builder who finds ways to bridge her interests with the interests of others, activity supporting the foundation and growth of Seeding School. She also co-runs two book clubs, one specifically created to support moms with small children, and has been a facilitator for nature outings throughout the greater Anchorage community.

Many of us have a similar dream of co-creation, collaboration and the move towards intentional communities that gave space to share our passions, interests and needs! If you are called by the ideas and actions of this webpage and want to share your gifts and ideas, or just BE with others who want to live in relationship to themselves, others and nature, please connect with using the form below or go to our pods meetup page and see the different ways we are gathering within Anchorage.
