Join A Joy Pod and Help support Nature Song

This isn’t your typical fundraiser it’s a FUN-raiser. A movement toward play, spontaneity, and community, because in times of stress and uncertainty, coming together to have fun is an act of resistance. It’s how we keep our nervous systems regulated, our hearts open, and our spirits strong.

And here’s the best part: every laugh, every adventure, every moment of connection fuels something bigger within your community.

Joy Pods are playful, out-of-the-box gatherings designed to bring people together for unexpected fun and connection. Here’s how they unfold:

  • A Joy Pod meetup is announced with a set day and time, bringing together a random group of 5 to 12 adults.

  • Each gathering is inspired by a letter from PLAY, shaping the experience with mystery, movement, creativity, or surprise.

  • Before the meetup, key info is shared:

    • Where to meet

    • What to wear

    • A small hint of what to expect (but never too much—surprise is part of the magic!)

  • Each Joy Pod is designed to surprise and delight, offering two types of experiences:

    • Physical – Movement-based adventures that get everyone active and engaged.

    • Art – Creative, hands-on experiences that spark imagination.

    • Shenanigans – Mischievous activities

  • Joy Pods meetups range from $35 to $50 to cover costs. Any additional payment offered will go to future communal gatherings and Nature Song initiatives.

More Than a Fundraiser

Play is powerful. Community is healing. The formation of joy pods in itself is a creative action towards bringing people of different experiences, perspectives, and ages together and uniting them in the present.

Let’s rebel against stress with laughter and help fund current and future Nature Song initiatives.

Support Through Sponsorship

Would you like to help make this experience accessible to someone who might not otherwise be able to participate? You can sponsor a spot for a community member facing financial hardship or someone who gives tirelessly to others—like teachers, healthcare workers, and essential caregivers.

I already have several teachers in mind whom I’d love to gift a spot as a thank-you for their work. If you’d like to contribute or have someone in mind who could benefit, feel free to email me!

About Amy

For over 20 years, I’ve been dedicated to creating and facilitating group experiences that surprise, uplift, and connect people in meaningful ways. I’ve honed the art of hosting playful meetups, blending creativity, fun, and spontaneity to craft moments that linger in the memory. Joy Pods are an experiment in bringing people together in a fresh and creative ways, something I’m passionate about, as I believe in the power of reclaiming our sense of aliveness and reconnecting to our natural, playful selves.

Part of the joy for me is in the unfolding process. What happens when people gather consistently in a playful, joyful way? What gets created in those connections, and where do we go next?

I’m excited to explore this with you and see where the journey leads us!
