Infant Pod

A continuation, now with babies in arms

The Infant Pod is a small, consistent group for those in the early months of motherhood, a place to return, now from within the lived experience of caring for a baby.

What was once imagined is now here.

The days can feel full and disorienting. There is love, care, and constant tending, and often, a quiet sense of doing something significant without enough support.

This pod offers a space to not do this part alone.

How it Works

Pods are small groups that meet weekly over a set period of time. Each gathering follows a simple, familiar rhythm: arrival, settling, check-in, shared reflection, and conversation. Babies are welcome in all states. Feeding, moving, tending, all of it is part of the space.

There is no expectation to have it together. Come as you are.

What we Explore

Each week holds a thread, shaped by the real experience of early motherhood:

  • understanding matrescence and the ongoing identity shifts

  • noticing and softening the inner critic

  • recognizing your own strength and capacity

  • letting go of unrealistic expectations and making space for imperfection

  • exploring values and what matters in this season

  • navigating needs, boundaries, and connection with others

  • learning to ask for and offer support

  • beginning to build relationships that extend beyond the pod

This is not about doing motherhood “right.”
It is about being in it, together.

What begins to Form

The pod becomes more than a weekly gathering. It becomes a small network of support, rooted in shared experience and relationship.

As the weeks come to a close, the pod is not meant to end. Groups are invited to continue meeting on their own, carrying forward the connections and rhythms that have begun to take shape.

Mothers are also invited into a wider circle, a monthly gathering held by Amy, where individuals from each pod come together as part of the larger Forest. This is a place to stay connected beyond your small group, to continue being held within a wider web of community and support.

Alongside these circles, there are ongoing Forest Collective offerings, shared gatherings, seasonal experiences, and community spaces that continue to weave together learning, connection, and life in nature.

In this way, the pod is not an ending point. It is an entry into something larger, a living network of relationships that continues to grow outward over time.
