How old does my child have to be to attend this camp? This camp is for boys ages 9 to 13.

What is the registration deadline? For this camp, please register on or before June 4, 2019.

How many campers are in each group?  Enrollment is limited to 8 boys.

Who is the camp leader?  Derrick DeBusk will be leading this special camp. Derrick has 15+ years of experience working with this age group and is the current head teacher at Tudor Elementary school. For the last year he’s been running dialog circles in his 5th/6th grade homeroom class and sees the positive impact it has made in his students' lives. Derrick’s sense of humor and storytelling brings a depth to his circles that kids can connect with and feel safe to learn from.

What is Council? 
Council provides the opportunity to connect with one another in a way that does not typically occur in standard social situations. For boys, it is an opportunity to openly explore their thoughts and ideas in a safe and supported space. In council, boys listen with deep respect and empathy to the stories of others and learn that they are not alone in their thoughts and feelings.
