Nurturing Kinship
with Nature, Each Other,
and Ourselves

We believe in the power of intentional connection to transform lives. By fostering care for ourselves, each other, and the natural world, we create a shared community rooted in belonging and support. Rebuilding the “village” together—an interwoven fabric of relationships that uplift and sustain us through all of life’s seasons.

Our Story

Nature Song was established by Amy Rupp, whose work as an educator, mentor, and community builder has shaped it into a vibrant space for connection, personal growth, and collaborative learning.

The vision for Nature Song extends beyond the contributions of a single individual. It seeks to become a thriving community supported by a diverse network of children, adults, community elders, educators, and holistic practitioners.

This is not a top-down organization, but a living, breathing community of exchange, where everyone has a role to play. In this evolving model, everyone is invited to bring their unique gifts, skills, and energy to co-create something meaningful.

Nature Song Initiatives

Seedling School

Seedling School is a hybrid between a drop-off program and a family-led experience, created to build a community of learners through shared efforts. Grounded in hands-on learning, nature connection, community events, and field trips, it fosters an environment where children thrive. Families play an active role in shaping the experience, supporting the growth of both children and adults. This collaborative approach ensures meaningful connections and lifelong learning for all involved.

Generation Circle

Generation Circle brings women of all life stages together in a shared space to deepen connections and explore the dynamics of shared experience. Through stories, creative expressions, group conversations, and movement, participants engage in meaningful and enriching experiences. These gatherings offer opportunities to form enduring bonds and build companionship with others who resonate with their personal paths. It’s a space where women come together to support, inspire, and grow alongside one another.

Forest Collective

Forest Collective provides essential support for mothers navigating the demanding stages of motherhood, helping them cultivate networks of care and interdependence. This intentional approach goes beyond a typical meetup for kids, fostering a vibrant community where families and mothers alike create lasting bonds. Together, enriching each other's lives and strengthen the fabric of their broader community.

Cycles of the Wild

Cycles of the Wild is an initiative dedicated to guiding and supporting individuals through the profound transitions of life, with a focus on rites of passage. These rites are vital, as they offer a framework for acknowledging and honoring the significant moments of growth and transformation that shape our journey. Cycles of the Wild empowers people to embrace these transitions, celebrating their milestones and cultivating a sense of belonging and community within the natural flow of life.

Day Camps

At our Nature Day Camps, we honor the child’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder by following their lead in exploration and play. This is a space where children are encouraged to engage in the kinds of outdoor activities that foster creativity, independence, and connection to the natural world—just as children once did before the distractions of screens and structured schedules. Here, kids build, explore, and discover at their own pace, developing confidence and a deeper bond with nature. It’s an opportunity for unhurried, imaginative play where every adventure is guided by their innate interests and desires.
