The Forest Collective has helped me feel as if I’m not alone in my parenting journey.

Our pod has become like family. We support each other with day-to-day tasks, big life events like pregnancy, and everything in between—milestones, holidays, and more.

We love meeting weekly in the forest with friends. We also gather at the zoo, Hilltop, the museum, coffee shops, and parks.

Being part of this community has made us feel like we have the kind of support system you’re supposed to have when raising children, instead of feeling alone. If you’re considering joining the Forest Collective, I would say just do it. I wasn’t sure what it would look like for us at first. It took time to build in the beginning, but we have created such beautiful friendships that now feel more like family.

I believe many of today’s challenges in society stem from a lack of connection on so many levels. The Forest Collective offers an opportunity to create these much-needed connections for both parents and children.

I wish I’d had something like this when I was a young, struggling mother. I’m so grateful to have it now for my grandbaby. It’s been a joy to witness her discovering life outside, and we’ve both loved making new friends and building lasting relationships.

My family has been a part of Amy’s communities since my children were small, and I can’t imagine our lives without them! The support, inspiration, and learning that my children and I have received have been invaluable. Amy’s passion and creativity shine through in all her projects, and I can’t wait to see what she creates next.

The absolute best parenting advice I can give after 3 kids is this: water the brilliant flower of your soul frequently—plant yourself firmly in YOUR own community so that both you and your children can be nurtured.

Thanks to Amy Rupp, founder and community leader of the Nature Song collective—Me and my little one met weekly with our nature play pod of mamas and their littles in a beautiful outdoor location. These regular social interactions follow a simple, comforting, and inspiring rhythm which both me and my kids love.

I often left feeling like I just took a super vitamin of sisterhood and Mother Earth magic.

And the best part is all I had to do was show up. Amy facilitated the whole process, from finding mamas in my area to helping us choose a location to teaching us the rhythm and songs for our circle. If you’d love to plant yourself in a community of your own, join the Forest Collective. It’s worth every penny.
