Wanderings
Wanders happen in solitude (under my careful watch of course) or as a group and offer children rare moments of silence to hear their voice and what sparks their interest. These wanderings provoke an abundance of questions, an invitation to learn and the excitement of play. It allows young minds the opportunity to embrace curiosity, and feel a sense of belonging within the landscape and within a group.

Nature Games
We play games that expand our connection to nature and ourselves. Games are used to introduce core routines and to build independence, sensory awareness, and knowledge of primitive skills. They also help teach about the animals, plants, and landscapes around us. Best of all...they are fun!!

Exploration Activity
A provocation will be offered to campers that expand on a thought, project, idea, or interest. Provocations are open-ended and optional and provide an invitation for a child to explore and/or express themselves through their senses. Provocations are used to inspire creativity and/or discovery.

Afternoon Reflection Circle
We take this time to reflect on our time together. It is an opportunity to build community by talking about shared and personal experiences and to tuck these experiences into our memories. If you see us in circle, please feel free to join us!
